When was the last time you saw an accordian...or an entire ceiling hung with accordians. Visit the Collections Cafe' at the Chihuly Gardens in Seattle, WA. Not only is the entire decor unique and eclectic, the food was amazingly prepared, fresh and local.

Chihuly Glass House
Caught the clouds and reflection of the sun starting to set on the Chihuly Glass House. Such a fabulous place and experience!
Entrance to the EMP (Experience Music Project Museum)
One of the most unique examples of architecture I have ever seen. I wanted to photography the many sides, colors & styles of this amazing building - but turns out the music history inside is just as interesting. An Amazing day in Seattle!
Oh yes, and the Monorail runs through a section of the building!
The EMP and Seattle Space Needle
With the EMP building next to the Space Needle in the heart of Seattle, there are some truly beautiful views of both.
A few years ago when I bought my Dell Computer a view similar photo was a desktop option on the Computer. I had no idea it was part of the architecture of the EMP in Seattle. I ran across it while I was on the internet researching out trip to Seattle in 2012. Now it all makes sense - the EMP was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000. Wealth has it advantages!
EMP with the Space Need in view
One more colorful side of EMP architecture! It's hard to believe this is all ONE Building.
Frank Gehry was the design architect. If you are dying to visit after all the photos I have posted, see below.
Another of the many sides, colors and distinct architecture of the EMP
Monorail and the EMP
Another side of the amazing EMP Building with the Monorail moving through. The colors and reflections are unbelievable! EMP Museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000.
Inside the EMP - every bit as unique
A Friendly Face from the Guitar Tree at the EMP
One of the artistic memorabilia in the EMP is a 1st to 2nd floor Guitar Tree. This one was that caught my eye.
Women in Rock n Roll
Sunset at Olympic Park, Seattle, WA at the Seattle seawall
The Seattle Great Wheel, on Pier 57
Not quite as tall as the London Eye (443 ft), the Seattle Wheel is 175 ft of excitement.
View larger to take in the great waterfront detail!
Sunset on the Norwegian Jewel
I loved the colors of this cruise ship, the sunset and the Space Needle!
Leaving Bainbridge Island
The sun was getting low and we had spent a wonderful afternoon on Bainbridge Island.
Beautiful Lillies on Bainbridge Island
Flowers were everywhere during our visit. I believe this is an Asiatic Lilly but not sure of the variety. I had no idea there were so many types of Lillies!
Bainbridge Island, WA
I wasn't sure what these were for, until I watched someone load it up with stuff and wheel it to their boat. Sorry, I was raised in a land-locked state! Pretty nifty little carts...and colorful!
Star Marine Tugboat, Glen Cove, Bainbridge Island, WA
I loved the colors of this tugboat and found it is a real working tugboat, belonging to Star Marine. There was quite a variety of boats in this lovely Cove.
Found these colorful vases sitting in a shop window on Bainbridge Island. They were begging to be photographed!
Although most think of artichokes as food, if left unharvested, artichoke buds form large pink or purple thistle-like flowers. The flowers, while not edible, have beautiful color and texture. I love them!
Leaving Bainbridge Island - the beautiful Seattle skyline
Country mouse and City mouse
Leaving Bainbridge Island, the contrast between the wooded beauty of Bainbridge and the modern Seattle skyline.
Mt. Rainer rising in the background
A massive stratovolcano located 54 miles SE of Seattle. 2 days into our visit to Seattle we still had not seen Mt. Rainer, until we were return from Bainbridge Island. It looked like it was "floating" in the sky, 14,410 feet above sea level! I was so excited to have gotten several photos - it is so magnificently beautiful.
Street Performers at Seattle Waterfront
The lighting was beautiful, the wooden flutes lovely - but I had no idea what the small guitar was. Its called a Guitalele - a hybrid, cross between a classical guitar and a tenor ukulele!
