The Baldwin Coach Barn - stunning! (View larger)
In 1875, E.J. "Lucky" Baldwin purchased Rancho Santa Anita, now the Los Angeles County Arboretum.
The Baldwin Coach Barn, designed in the same ornate style as the Victorian cottage, displays beautiful alternating cedar and redwood panels and original iron grillwork contributing to a feeling of opulence.
After Lucky Baldwin's death, the County of Los Angeles purchased 111 acres of the Rancho Santa Anita to create an arboretum around the Baldwin home-site.
The Coach Barn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
