The fantastic mimes of Mallorca

"What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever,
impossible to reproduce." ― Karl Lagerfeld

EARLY YEARS: I've been taking "snapshots" since the Kodak Brownie, but only recently been photographing with a DSLR.

TODAY: I recently moved to Henderson, Nevada where I am an Administrative Assistant for an international biotech company . . . AND, a Traveler/Photographer, Mother and Grandmother in real life.

MY LEGACY: For my family and friends to remember me as a person who loves to experience the world.....with my camera always with me. And of course, some wonderful photographs to "capture" the moments!

Since you were the only one inquisitive enough to ask me how I took that night shot of the cross with the beam of light, I thought I would tell you how I composed it. The cross was about 3 feet high and placed on a slight hill above where I was taking images of the night sky. I camera settings were for a night shot (the starry sky) with a long exposure and I simply held a flashlight above my head and directed the beam of light right on the cross. Obviously, I held it very still and the resulting photo is the one I posted on Easter morning. Fairly easy to do. Try it sometime and send me an image.

Hi Suzanne, you have an eye for both capturing and processing your images, they are a joy to view. In particular I enjoyed the Antiques gallery as I am a car enthusiast. Great work!

  • Thank You for your comment on my Milky Way Photo, composition is easy after you know where to look -south- everywhere you go all the time you are always looking southward sizing a view! The guys who did the ViewBug app are from Mallorca.

C’est une émotion pure votre élogieux commentaire vers son site tout juste débutant, je maîtrise davantage mon appareil photo que l’informatique. Une balade à travers vos images me ravie... merci

Suzanne, Thank you so much for your comment on my Venice Gondola photo. I appreciate it when another photographer takes the time to truly express how a photo makes them feel. FYI: I think I will take your suggestion. :)
